Yay! I hope that you get some good use out of them. I admit that I'm addicted to color. Some of my favorite icon makers make beautiful muted icons that I adore but when I'm left at the controls, I have to use color. This was my attempt to make more muted icons!

*grins* Wow, both Rodneys? Go for it! I haven't made a whole lot of Rodneys, mostly because it seems as if he's so well covered by so many iconners with so much more talent and knowledge. Generally I make SGA icons for friends who can't find what they want elsewhere, so that skews my choices in odd directions.

But, since you asked, I will make a point of keeping an eye open for Rodney caps that just beg to be icons. :)

I like it! It's a composite of a couple different images, no? I haven't tried composite work yet. The most I've done is slide one person over to get everyone into an icon.

The crispness factor is my Holy Grail, I admit. Maybe it's because I've been myopic since I was a wee tyke, maybe it's because I started this process as a means to learn how to improve my own photography...but I really want the pics to be clear and in focus. I know you have lots of excellent iconners on your f-list but if there's anything you've ever seen me do and you want to know how I did it, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm always happy to share, it's just that I assume my work is so basic that it's sort of self-evident how I did it. :)

pax89 did me a huge favor by writing out generally how she made the icon I'm using here - my all time fave Sam icon - and a similar Teal'c one that I adore. I've tried it and been very happy, even if I am still fixated on saturated color.

lol! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to admit, I made that one in direct response to my anger over what they did to her in Insiders. It was cathartic. My fingers are crossed that tonight's script won't leave me tearing out chunks of hair, ranting, cursing, and generally stalking around like a twerp. :)

Whoa, these are *gorgeous*. I confess, I get a bit impatient with so many icons out there where images are worked to death -- cluttered and busy and fuzzy and-- well. Everything yours aren't. These are crisp and strong and *clear*. And beautiful. I snagged several. Thank you!

Actually, I do know what you're talking about and I admit I'm more of a fan of the icon that is simple than many of the heavily processed type. I don't know if it's purely an aesthetic choice or if it's my older eyes just not reading a 100x100 pixel square easily enough to follow what's going on.
