I like it! It's a composite of a couple different images, no? I haven't tried composite work yet. The most I've done is slide one person over to get everyone into an icon.

The crispness factor is my Holy Grail, I admit. Maybe it's because I've been myopic since I was a wee tyke, maybe it's because I started this process as a means to learn how to improve my own photography...but I really want the pics to be clear and in focus. I know you have lots of excellent iconners on your f-list but if there's anything you've ever seen me do and you want to know how I did it, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm always happy to share, it's just that I assume my work is so basic that it's sort of self-evident how I did it. :)

pax89 did me a huge favor by writing out generally how she made the icon I'm using here - my all time fave Sam icon - and a similar Teal'c one that I adore. I've tried it and been very happy, even if I am still fixated on saturated color.
