(I've included several icons made for challenges but then rejected in favor of "better" icons using the same cap. I like seeing how an icon maker "thinks" by looking at process. If this is annoyingly repetitive let me know and I will limit future posts to just the better ones.)

Wow - what an honor. Thank you. :)

My first inclination was to say, "thanks but I need to wash my hair those months" because that is a truly intimidating list of participants and I've never done a LIMS before. Starting at the top seems like setting myself up to fail. However, I so loved everything you did in [livejournal.com profile] sf_incandescent (and I still hope that comm will end hiatus) that I felt I should at least check into it.

I would LOVE the opportunity for real feedback; I need it to improve. I've been very fortunate to get that in the past -- it is the direct cause of my better efforts. I also love the, "post your alternates that you didn't enter" posts because it's really nice to see that the perfect icon didn't spontaneously occur. Lord, that comm looks like a pile of work for you and I really appreciate it.

Thank you for the invite. Now I'll go over and add my name to list.

omg yes, this is a late reply. I've had this comment sitting in the back of my mind for a few days :).

While I think the list is intimidating, I know you'll do well - and I'm not just saying that. You scored a Members' Choice for this challenge, so there you go ;).

Lord, that comm looks like a pile of work for you and I really appreciate it. Sometimes I really feel it. For the past month I've been used to under ten participants (as R1 was drawing to an end) and now we're back up at 50 and it's like, participants! votes! everywhere.

Speaking of late replies...*ahem*

I'm still a bit surprised about the first round; I'm basking while I may. There will shortly be another round of voting an whole new set of pretty icons to enjoy. I can hardly wait!

The sheer number of comments to track, copying and pasting, the mind bending math of lowest score is best, crossing out usernames as entries are submitted...that's a pile of work. You're a braver human than I am to take it on. Or, you know, far less lazy. ;)
