My first inclination was to say, "thanks but I need to wash my hair those months" because that is a truly intimidating list of participants and I've never done a LIMS before. Starting at the top seems like setting myself up to fail. However, I so loved everything you did in sf_incandescent (and I still hope that comm will end hiatus) that I felt I should at least check into it.

I would LOVE the opportunity for real feedback; I need it to improve. I've been very fortunate to get that in the past -- it is the direct cause of my better efforts. I also love the, "post your alternates that you didn't enter" posts because it's really nice to see that the perfect icon didn't spontaneously occur. Lord, that comm looks like a pile of work for you and I really appreciate it.

OMG. These are probably my favorite icons of yours...absolutely brilliant!!

Lots of humor in these, but also beautiful graphics...it's hard to find the two things combined these days!

I love them all (seriously), but I'll just tell you my favorites to avoid the longest comment in history... ;))

#1 is absolutely hilarious and, as I said above, graphically perfect (greta coloring/composition). :x:x:x

#s 5 and #6... again with the humor *giggles* and the perfect execution...brilliant!

#9 omg. I'm not into SG-1/SGA, but I want to marry this icon. PERFECT.

#16 love the cropping and the coloring (well, the b/w), the textures... :x:x:x

#21-25-30 amazing coloring and composition!

You liked #9! YAY! There isn't any love for that one but when I saw the pic I was immediately reminded of the iconic Valentino poster and just had to make an homage.

#37 is something of a departure for me texture-wise and I find I like it. I don't know if I'll find another pic that I like as well for the style but it's a step away from the realism that my brain insists on and that is a good thing. I want to learn to do more.
