I think you'll be disappointed in the pic, but it's here on www.michaelshanks-online.com. It's a screen cap from his appearance in the episode entitled, Mary 25, of The Outer Limits. The entire set of screen caps is here. He was sooooooo young there! They have not yet released this episode on DVD and thus no good quality images exist -- that I know of. *pulls hair out in frustration*

I had to sort of cheat this one. I had shirtless pics for Amanda, RDA, and Chris -- but no Michael. I mean, I wanted him as him rather than as a character. Sadly, it was not to be. :(

He's so tiny!!! FTR, he also did an OL ep called "Manifest Destiny" that was pretty good (as OL eps go, I think it's generally quite overrated). And he's got short hair and much hotness.

Incidentally, I would swear I read somewhere MS said he waxes his chest for shirtless scenes, do you know if that's true? Given his facial hair, you can see it goes far enough down his neck to suggest a rather hirsute chest underneath--I hope he's not actually hairy-chested and hiding it because that would be a damned shame.

Isn't he? The screencaps are so...disappointing. I was thrilled a couple of years ago when I finally got a TiVo and could record my own copy of Mary 25 and could see it in its original glory. Ha! The entire show was grainy, worse than the caps I linked. *sigh*

It's bizarre that you should ask me because this is the one bit of Michael grooming trivia that I know. At last year's NJ con, he said that as part of some prank pulled on him when he was in college, his sports buddies took advantage of his inebriation and waxed his chest (or part of it) -- and that it itches when it starts to grow back. Thus, he continues to wax. Personally, I think that story sounds farfetched but the answer is, "Yes, he waxes his chest."
