Hmmm...I'm at the office, which means I'm on the crappy, crappy monitor and I'm afraid I don't see it. (Note to self: order a new monitor and soon.) Is it a problem of oversharpening? Is the defect on her lower lid? Or below the eye entirely? I'll check again when I get home and see if I see what you're talking about when I'm on my spiffy monitor. If I can see it, I can correct it. Thank you. :)

Normal. The icon was certainly meant to make him look like that because that's how he sees himself. The text, though, sucks. I LOVE the way it's done in the icon you're using. I know that my texting skills are, well, minimal is a kind description. I'm so often tempted to put text on them even though I know I suck at it. BTW, your Normal icon is brilliant! I need to look harder through the caps I'm slowly amassing through the generosity of folks like kaleidoscopeday. I must have some quite decent Normal caps to use.

No, it's right underneat her left eye. You can't see that one to well, but the little dump right to the left of her right eye is more visual. I hink it's oversharpening that does it, maybe something wih the coloring. Her noe alo looks kinda weird, but that's probably just the cp so ignore that one

Yeah I figured it was meant to be like that, whic is kinda why I like t:) Well, mynormal icon is made by carmendove, who is an absolutely brilliant graphical artist. She also has several tutorials and such up,so you should definetly take a look!

I went to carmendove's LJ and I love her icons. The tutorials didn't get me very far, sadly. There's a lot of info on how she lightens and what color she uses to burn, soft light, overlay, whatever...but not much more. I think I'm text-dumb at the moment. I do think that eventually I'll "get" it but for now it's mostly trial and miss (to mix my cliches). *shrugs* I suppose it's always good to expect to improve...
