[livejournal.com profile] terylicious is hosting the Third Annual Terylicious Contest and is soliciting submissions of art (icons, wallpapers, banners, original works of art, etc.), fanfic, and music videos. Due date for entries is 9 October 2006.

Entries are not limited to SG-1's Doctor Fraiser. Teryl has been in dozens? hundreds? of movies so there's an absolute metric ton of source material to play with. Terylicious also has an extensive collection of gorgeous photos and screen caps.

I'm probably the last Stargate fan on my f-list to know about this but I'm pimping it anyway. Just in case there's anyone out there who, like me, didn't know about it before now. There just can't be enough Teryl love in this world.

Anyhow, I expect to loathe this week's joke-a-thon. I'm not decided on whether I'll watch it or just tape it while I watch the USA channel (Psych! Monk! House!) and maybe watch the hilarious (sic) send up of fans, sci fi, and a show I used to respect at some much later date. :|

I saw this meme making the rounds a couple of months ago and marked it to do at a later date because I didn't have the time then. My usual partner in crime, [livejournal.com profile] jalabert, is visiting our other partner in crime, [livejournal.com profile] opinionatedmuse, in Ohio this week and Joe is out of town so I'm left at loose ends. Thus, the really, really long meme of extreme navel gazing. Boring, really, so I've hidden it behind the LJ cut.
