For the third time in five years, I'll be trundling down to jury duty. I think I got called less often when it was just the voting population. The last time I did this (April, for pete's sake), I discovered the joy of the light rail train. Doesn't get me there any faster, but I don't have to drive or park downtown. The money to park and ride both ways is less than the $6/day they pay for short jury duty. iPod and paperback ready to go, though I'd rather it weren't today since I'm more concerned about superl99's dad and his failing health.

If I end up on a jury, I hope it's more interesting than the last one, where we spent seven days on the fascinating case of renter's insurance and mold arising from the "'sudden and accidental' release of water."
