Yanno, I'd actually got to a Teryl-Only Con. That would be asking a lot of her to carry a whole weekend by herself but she's such a hoot and I'd love to see her some time when she isn't manically rushing so that she can get on a plane and fly off to her next job. :)

She's my definite favorite of any guest, though Don Davis and Peter Williams run a close second.

I don't know that I'd want the financial exposure putting together a con would entail but I'd sure be happy to attend TerylCon.

No kidding! I'd love to see her onstage. :) And I don't have any of her autographs except for the one they mailed out the time she had to cancel because she had a death in the family. Which was amazingly sweet of her and I totally credit her for going "above and beyond" but the photo they chose to send me is my least favorite of all time.

And they wonder why we would prefer to bring our own items rather than buy the utter crap they sell.

I haven't prepared anything for this con. :( I normally haul my HUGE collection of shit to each con for signing since I never know who will turn up. I wanted to make a bunch of matched prints like evil_moopie thought of, but I didn't have the time and I never found a smiling pic of Don that I liked enough to ask her to make for me. :| :|

I have a TON of stuff I'd like to have Amanda sign. They'd make a pile of money off me if they could get her to the con. Fortunately for our house fund, that simply isn't going to happen.

Partly to blame is MGM. How they can have such shit for official merchandise when they have such a stable of pretty people to plaster all over it, I do not know.

Yanno, thinking on it, I think TerylPalooza is a better name than TerylCon. ;)

Actually, I really really enjoyed last year's line up and there weren't any big names (that I cared about) there. The "second string" are almost always more fun, any way since they aren't hounded by weirdos. I'm kind of hoping that Michael cancels (shocking! I know) and that they bring Teryl in, except I know that would break the hearts of some of my fellow f-listers who are going on just his day to see him. I don't want to wish that on them. But I do think that we won't have to put up with the creepy kid Albert if Michael isn't there and that makes any con better. :|

This year we could always send my nephews over to beat him up if we wanted.

And trust me, the two of them would break him.

You wouldn't find me trying to stop them. I don't approve of violence usually but it's obvious that the kid's parents are raising him to be a thug. Better he finds out now than in the prison cell he's so clearly headed for.

My nephews aren't normally violent (except the normal brother stuff). But for this I would totally tell them to disregard things.
