69 Icons: SG-1, Dr. Who, Torchwood, John Barrowman
30 SG-1
20 Dr. Who
14 Torchwood (Spoilers through all of Season 1)
05 John Barrowman

I loved the penultimate episode of Torchwood. *sigh* It's Captain Jack Harkness who keeps me watching even when the show fails to live up to its potential; John Barrowman has magnetism to spare. This wasn't meant as a, "I ♥ John Barrowman," post, but I now realize that's what it has become.

Have I mentioned lately that I adore you and that you're waaaay too good for my ego? :) Anything I do with textures is due to your telling me to get off my duff and use them. Not that I know what I'm doing but it's fun to play with them. *shrug*

Great use of text!!
FAINTS! If I could, I would make TWO icon posts -- one for you that is totally text-free and one for everyone else. ;-) I know how much you prefer textless and I am still feeling my way with text (and trying to figure out why angling it makes it go all uneven -- Very Vexing) so anytime you like the text? I *know* I've scored. :) *smooches*

Welcome back to LJ! I'm still looking forward to hearing all about your NYC adventures -- when you have the time. Unless you're busy iconning in which case I'm officially shutting up this second. :)

Have you been watching Torchwood? Are you familiar with John Barrowman? He is very, very, very pretty and so talented it's almost disgusting. I can't say that I'm exactly enjoying Torchwood because some of the other characters annoy me beyond reason but Barrowman saves it and keeps me glued to my screen nonetheless. Thanks for the recommendation of "Heroes." I like the show. A lot. :)

Awww...I'd love to tell you all about my NY adventures (well, the bits I didn't post on my "NY adventures" lj entry)! The only problem is that I'm busy...not iconing (which I would love and I kinda miss), but working, working, working. :((
Besides my regular job, I'm working on a website for a friend and I'm translating some articles from Italian to English... basically, I have no free time. *cries*

Have you been watching Torchwood? Are you familiar with John Barrowman?

Yes and yes. ;-) I loved Captain Jack since his Dr. Who appearance... and (I'm probably the only one) I actually like Torchwood much better than Dr. Who...:-)
Do we know if there's going to be a S2 anyway? *ponders*

I need to reply to you - but I have to go to bed and I need some real time to actually compose a real answer. I haven't forgotten you - how could I? - but I don't want to toss off a reply in the 5 minutes before I collapse, exhausted, into bed.

I'll try to reply tomorrow. *HUGS*

Well, geez...I knew that I was tired when I last responded to you but I didn't realize I was coming down with flu or something. :| Sorry for the delay.

I managed to miss your LJ post - I'll be checking for it when I finish here - even though I was watching for it. Work is the best reason to be independently wealthy, don't you think? Frustrating to have to spend so much quality goofing off time slaving away. :)

Why am I not surprised that you're aware of John Barrowman? I can't claim to prefer Torchwood to Dr. Who, I admit, but I'm miiiiiighty fond of Mr. Barrowman.

Yes, there is going to be a Torchwood S2. I think I saw something about it starting up after S3 of DW ends. As I understand it, Jack will be in S3 of DW and that's all supposed to occur time-wise between the two TW seasons.
