Comments are treasured. Credit is nice but I don't really care; just don't be a dork and claim you made them, please. I keep my icons in my LJ Scrapbook if you want to browse by character/show.

One final icon, though it is not shareable:
Made for [livejournal.com profile] jalabert's brilliant SGA AU slash story, My Fair Liar.
It has a movie poster, too, which was original artwork done by [livejournal.com profile] deani_bean.

Wow! Someone linked me here last night because I have the Teal'c love, and well, now I want them all. :P But at least a Teal'c, a Sam, and definitely "Unas Germs" because I'm marathoning SG-1 in order and I whined about the number of Unas eps last week. I've tried to like them, really. These are ALL just gorgeous.

*blinks* Someone sent you here? I'm -- floored. Please thank the person for me and thank you for giving my icons a look-see. Take what you want and I hope that you get good use out of them. I'm afraid I love the Unas episodes but I couldn't resist the look on his face in that cap. It's too perfect -- and I can see where it would appeal if you aren't an Unas fan. Thank you for the compliment on the icons; I appreciate your taking the time to tell me that you like them. :D

*g* Yep, [livejournal.com profile] control_freak80 ran across this post in...an icon comm maybe? But she knows my love for Teal'c and pointed out the eyelashes one. I also maybe kinda linked to this post in my journal because I was listing my squee for the day. (So if you get a bunch of strangers over here...yeah.)

The thing is, I can see where the Unas episodes are really some of the smartest the show has done. They're really fascinating anthropological studies and actually what most of the episodes should be on - trying to make connections with aliens that don't speak colloquiel English. I just...kinda fail at the facinatingly anthropological. *sheepish grin*

Oh my! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I certainly never expected anything like that. *hugs* I have a stupid grin on my face now.

I love the Unas episodes for precisely their anthropological, alien content -- but I'm the first to admit that I have a higher threshold than most for it. It's no accident I was an archaeologist for years. I will also say that I think there's a reason anthropological field research tends to be shown in documentaries rather than action shows. :) Compelling content doesn't always make compelling television.
