I had thought about it...I need to find some new images of her to work with though..beside the Stargate ones(I'll use them too..just want some really good Teryl images to play with..hehe)
The best (and generally only source) that I know of is the encyclopedic collection of caps at Terylicious. Teryl works. A lot. The problem is having the time to go through it all and familiarize myself. I admit that I'm a bit overwhelmed. I don't have her work outside of Best in Show and SG-1 on DVD, so I'll be relying on their caps.
I hope that you participate because your composition is fabulous - I'm sooooo envious - and I'd love to see your talent put to Ms. Rothery.
I poked around myself. Some of the caps are disappointingly small but not all. Many are huge and give me enough clarity to work with. I've been enjoying looking at new pics. Since I have yet to set up my own cap making enterprise, it's nice to see new-to-me images.
Been working on replacing small images with larger. Deleted tons of stuff that's still on AG (http://rothery.stargate-sg1.hu/photos/), but even smaller, crappier. It's often a challenge to get DVD's of things, but sometime you luck out, like with Profit, that we only had with Dutch subtitles and in crap quality for the longest, because her episodes never even aired in the US.
Will try to go for big caps in the future, as we both prefer big pics, too. :D Will need to add the large SG-1 caps we have. Oi, lots to do, she's a busy woman.
As for clips... if you have requests, I'm sure katiedammit can be convinced to add more clips to the multimedia section. Those won't be cappable, but they'll allow for a decent viweing experience.

I think this was taken as far more of a criticism than *I* intended when I was writing. In my head, I was thinking that with bad luck, someone might click onto some of the smaller pics first and just give up. Yes, some are too small/grainy/whatever for *my* tastes but there's this HUGE wealth of caps at Terylicious; some are absolutely perfect for iconning at my skill level and some are not. That was really more the thrust of my comment.

I just want to be certain that I'm clear: I in no way meant to criticize. I know you've done your damnedest to get the very best pics possible to represent her work. Sometimes, all we have are crappy sources. Sometimes, what was available when the caps were made wasn't the best and there hasn't been time to go back and re-do it because there's just never enough time. As someone who has spent a lot of time trying to get a good image out of my own crappy photographs, I'm very familiar with the limits. What's posted is often the best image we can tease out of a source, whether or not it looks like anything special on the screen. I wanted to encourage folks going through the archives to poke around quite a bit because there are some lovely images there. :)

*nods* Yes. And that's yet another reason I wouldn't dream of complaining. I appreciate that people make the caps and make them available, yanno? I know that it takes about an hour to upload a couple of hundred of my pics from cons and frankly, I'm grateful people take the time and pay for web space. I do NOT have these movies - well, except for Best in Show and that was such a tiny screen time - so I would not be able to do anything but Janet and Teryl promo pics if your archive weren't available.

Awww. :) To be honest at the moment I'm drowning in the wealth of images available already. There are plenty of roles she has done that I'm unfamiliar with; just going through everything is going to take me a while. I already have difficulty getting through everything. Becoming familiar enough with the body of images so that I can pick out what I think will work best...that's a huge hurdle for me.
Also - I'm trying to figure out if I can do a clip capture from con footage that might have totally, completely, absolutely accidentally got shot when my finger might have slipped and turned the camera dial from "photo" to "record." I don't know how interesting it would be without the sound -- and I suspect con footage photos are of interest to only those who attended the con, but it seemed like a worthy foray into animation. *shrug*
I'll take anything people want to add but I'm not yet a point where I'd know what to ask for. :|
I just want to be certain that I'm clear: I in no way meant to criticize. Oh, hon, I know that, I was just yappy. Take it as thinking out loud and noting what still needs to be done and spewing it into your journal. Plus the Profit had to be mentioned as it's the oddest thing to ever get.
I want one! The other day we saw a bumper sticker on the car of someone we presumed to be either a Highway Blogger (http://www.freewayblogger.com/santacruzgoodtimes.htm) or one of their fans that said: Mission Nothing Accomplished.
I do, too! I don't know why but I wasn't expecting it and that made it all the funnier.
I hadn't heard of the Freeway Blogger but I like his style. Sorry it has cost him his family but I understand having a passion that forces one to speak out.
