Thor!! They have Thor Photo Ops!
*whimper* I want to be going to the Creation Con for Stargate up in Vancouver. *pout* They sent me an e-mail today announcing that they have photo ops available with Thor. Now how damned cool would that be?!?

Yeah, because Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks, Joe Flanigan, Cliff Simon and J.R. Bourne have absolutely no appeal...

I, on the other hand, wish I'd been in London this weekend for the Pegasus con, with... him.

Amanda Tapping does hold an appeal for me. A tiny part of me holds onto the pipedream that she'll come to NJ this year...especially in light of Claudia Black's cancellation. They need something to draw in those boys. I'd dearly love to have a chance to "meet" her.

Michael Shanks? That hack? *snicker* I think we all know far too well how much appeal he has in my world. *checks out photo count on Mishtopia again* Joe Flanigan? If you'd guarantee me that he'd either be gagged or forced to use a non-nasal voice... ;-) Cliff Simon? Fingers crossed, I should get to see him in NJ. J.R. Bourne? I melt at the very idea; he's such a sweetie.

But...all of those people *might* travel to any of the cons whereas Thor obviously cannot. I would really, really like to "meet" Thor. And then get Michael to sign the pic.

Because I'm just that dorky.

Yes, you are. I love you anyway...and your little dog, too. ;)

(pssst -- your icon and mine seem to be doing a weird 'Brady Bunch' homage up there)

Yes, you do. You love both my little dogs. Brinks and Sebbie thank you most kindly for the jerky.

Oh. My. God. *sigh* I would pay for a photo with Thor!

I so would, too!

I have to admit the idea of Selmak and Thor together... in a photo op... would be great....

Oh well... too bad they can't take Thor on the road for the other cons. :D

Yeah. Selmak and Thor, the other white aliens. ;-) OK - it's late and I'm not funny when I'm tired.

I wish they could take Thor on the road. That would be way, way, way cool. Not that I would mind going to Vancouver to see Thor instead - it just isn't going to happen this year. But I would be a happy, squeeing fangirl to get to sit next to Thor - though not for the same reason I love to sit next to Thor's voice. :)

See, now a chance to see Thor AND Selmak together--THAT I'd pay for. ;)

You are such a fucking fan-girl. I think I love you.
Reading all your Stargate posts I am amused.

Misty, you are such a fucking fan-girl. You are cool.

PS. I wish they would run SG-SG1 and SG-Atlantis here at a reasonable time rather than really, really, really late on Sunday night. Very annoying.

Re: You are such a fucking fan-girl. I think I love you.
You have a Stargate icon! You have been assimilated.

I do hope this isn't your first clue to my fan-girl ways. Have I turned the corner of dorkdom to become geekily cool? I always wanted to be one of those pretty people who were doing things before they became the "in" thing but never enough to, yanno, change what I did.

Being the acquisitional fan-girl that I am, I own the SG-1 DVDs and a TiVo. I recommend them for purposes of attaining the highest geekdom chic. ;-) The fact that you can rewatch the best parts over and over and over at your convenience is purely coincidental.
