Random thoughts:
- Ford has the most god awful, ugly truck called the Super Chief. Boil on humanity's ass ugly. The pics on the page I linked to do not do this thing's ugliness justice. You really MUST see it with a "human" next to it for scale. Oversized and unwieldy are understatements. Think a few feet short of school bus-sized. Yes, it had the largest crowd for any vehicle at the show. *sigh* ETA: Yeah, yeah. It's "tri-fuel" and all - but I think the dream of driving a truck large enough to make a Hummer pause and think had more to do with the crowd.

- Bentleys really are ridiculously expensive. But their coupe isn't half bad looking.
- Still not a fan of Lamborghinis or Lotuses, but they had their usual crowd of fanboys.
- I am obviously still in the throws of my love-affair with convertibles. Nothing could distract me from them. Saab has a sedate looking one that I bet is fun to drive. Volvo's is ugly. Lexuses are way overpriced but they're going into the hybrid market. The Mini-Cooper has a cute one but their reliability issues leave me leery. The new Miata still looks great though the trunk opening/shape sucks bilge water. My favorite? A toss-up between the Aston-Martin convertible (*drool*) and a couple of those from Mercedes (wtf?!?). J is looking in the future to add to our car collection; he wants a fun car. He's eyeing both the Porsche Boxster and the Mercedes convertibles. He has to concern himself with sitting height, so his choices are more limited. Sometimes, I'm grateful to be short.
Hmmm...I bet once we check into how much it costs to insure one of those cars, J might be looking back at the cheap Saturn convertible. *grin* Hey, you could buy 3 of those for the price of 1 of the others.
