I think that B5 may be the most complexly plotted and planned show ever. I haven't seen every show ever made, of course, but it's a single-vision show and I LOVE the story ins and outs.

BSG started with so much promise and I loved it on par with the shows up there but they strayed from what I loved by around the S1 finale and never went back full-time to the stuff I loved most. I think it wasn't well-planned beyond the 1st season. Very sad waste of one of the best first season of the entire decade.
