If you're reading this, chances are you were trying to steal from the Mishtopia web site.
Q: What does "steal" mean in this context?
A: Using a program such as FrontPage to save pages set up to disallow the saving of images.
Q: Why does Mishtopia disallow saving large images?
A: For two reasons. The first is that Mishtopia does not own the copyrights to all the photos posted; friends have graciously shared their photos for inclusion in the album but have not given permission for us to give away copies of the file. Second, bandwidth. Automated downloading of all pages with little more than the click of a button encourages people to download everything, regardless of a picture's quality or desirability.
Q: What if I want a personal copy of a photo posted on Mishtopia?
A: Send us an e-mail asking for a copy.
Q: This was all a misunderstanding! How do I get removed from your banned list?
A: Send us an e-mail telling us the date you were banned. Including your IP address will help us respond to your concern more quickly but isn't strictly necessary. Once you're reinstated, please be certain to use a web browser such as Firefox, Netscape, or Internet Explorer when surfing Mishtopia. They do not generate the server requests that trapped you in the first place.
