lemonpunch is hosting an iconfest that runs through 26th May. This is your chance to request an icon or several. You can be very specific (linking to caps, requesting specific verbiage) or you can be more general.

If you're very lucky, lemonpunch might fulfill your request. If you're unfamiliar with her work, you're in for a treat. She creates small masterpieces; what she does with color, lighting, & textures is magical. Also? She is the only other iconist I know who has made a boatload of Calvin & Hobbes icons so she HAS to be amazing.

If you're hoping that I will try my hand at your request, please link me to your request so I'm certain to see it. I'm trying to keep up but the post is already a little unwieldy; I can only imagine what'll look like in a week and a half.

I watch IPS though I haven't been fannish about it. It's a rare show, actually, that makes me want to get on the internet and talk to other people about it. Normally, I'm happy to be a passive receiver of television.

I've made my good friend jalabert many personal icons (long before I ever started posting them, she gave my squares of squee an outlet, despite how crappy many were) and I'm still waiting for her to send me some photos from...High School Musical?...so that I can make her some more icons. But it is true that I haven't ever opened up a general request line. You should consider yourself as having one, however.

I'm not fannish, fannish. Beyond a random blurb here and there, I don't actually talk about IPS. Now, Marshall, on the other hand. Yeah. Given a chance, I'd probably wax poetic way too much. ;)
