Iconfest!

lemonpunch is hosting an iconfest that runs through 26th May. This is your chance to request an icon or several. You can be very specific (linking to caps, requesting specific verbiage) or you can be more general.

If you're very lucky, lemonpunch might fulfill your request. If you're unfamiliar with her work, you're in for a treat. She creates small masterpieces; what she does with color, lighting, & textures is magical. Also? She is the only other iconist I know who has made a boatload of Calvin & Hobbes icons so she HAS to be amazing.

If you're hoping that I will try my hand at your request, please link me to your request so I'm certain to see it. I'm trying to keep up but the post is already a little unwieldy; I can only imagine what'll look like in a week and a half.

Yup, I meant to your prompt. :) You aren't kidding that you don't ask for the easy! Helen caps I can find but which women in particular would make you happiest to pair her with? I'll struggle with this but I hope someone with mad compositing skillz also takes up the challenge. :)

Also -- just because someone's already filled a request doesn't mean you can't make some more if the prompt/photos inspire you. These are all shareable with everyone and somebody else might want something a little different.

Exactly, right? :D I thought that if I requested something from people in this group, I'd want something that would be a pain for me to do myself. Of course, that means it'd be a pain for anyone else to attempt... Preferred are Amelia Earhart and (because Amanda Tapping said she's the person she'd most prefer to meet in history) Dorothy Parker. :D

Indeed! It's just the mental thing of "If they have all these to choose from, they won't need whatever I come up with." I'm getting over it, though! ;-D

I realized how impossible my other prompt might be, so in the hopes of getting at least one pretty out of it, I took pity on people. And it worked! I got an icon from lemonpunch! ~wins~ ;-D
