The point of the post was to cover as many fandoms as possible rather than cover any fandom outside of my own (Stargate, Dark Angel) well. Fandoms represented: Andromeda, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Criminal Minds, CSI, CSI: NY, Dark Angel, Doctor Who, Dresden Files, Eureka, Firefly, Heroes, Lost, SG-1, SGA, Torchwood, Witchblade, Sin City, and Will Smith. Yes, Will Smith is a fandom unto himself.

I've been a baaaaaaaad friend- I know we were supposed to get together but I've had health issues and haven't really been dealing with them much and well, it's lead to me sort of hibernating.
Anyway, I know you've had it rough too, lately; just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and to send along great big HUGS!

No such thing as a bad friend. Friends are good things. The lovely remembrances that you and Megan gave me were very appreciated. :) It turns out that my mother's birthday was not a good day to meet anyway since she was in town. We did Mom things that day. It does mean that I missed getting the card to you and I didn't get to be part of the scrapbook. I'm very bummed about that.
I'm sorry that you're having health issues. I hope you're feeling better? I know how that saps a person's energy. Since I wasn't taking my thyroid meds, I found it almost impossible to get out of bed in the mornings. I thought it was depression over the dog and worrying about Mom and all. Once I realized I wasn't taking my meds, I took my morning temp and discovered I was hovering between 94 and 95 each morning. No wonder I felt like a lizard who needed a heat rock! I can hardly wait to get my body chemistry straightened out again.
Thanks, hon. I had a long July (though I LOVED having so much rain!) and I'm moving forward. I have some vacation coming up. Joe and I are going to spend time together and then he's flying out to Pebble Beach for a big car show and I'm going to introduce Amy to Queer As Folk. :) I'm looking forward to that. I'm looking forward to when we can get together. If you're not up to a trek to Houston, maybe I can make the trek to Lake Jackson? It doesn't always have to be your visiting here; I'm happy to take a turn visiting there.
