76 Icons: Stargate, Dr. Who, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica

The loss of my Photoshop hard drive slowed me down but since I had backups of my most often used stuff and a detailed list of resources, I was able to get back the stuff I most needed. I'm still missing my screen cap collection like mad. My older collection of SG-1 caps were stored on a separate HD that didn't fail. Thus? Lots of SG-1 icons and icons made from caps provided by various challenges.

Some of the SG-1 icons have been inspired by conversations with my LJ friends. The Daniel icons probably won't be overly popular this time around but after a discussion over at riverfox's LJ about the way that his glasses frame our perception, pardon the pun, of the character, I wanted to celebrate his glasses. Or lack thereof. Also likely to lack an audience are the Daniel/Sam icons but after moonshayde wrote about getting flames for writing incest because she posted a Daniel/Sam story...well, I started seeing it again in some of my caps so I went with it.

STARGATE SG-1 & a couple stray Atlantis icons. The Atlantis writers abused Aiden & Carson so they're now honorary SG-1 characters. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

*HUGS* I will repeat that you should not feel obligated -- doubly so since I'm not all that happy with this bunch. Partly it's the preponderance of so many uninspired crops but partly it's my ongoing struggle with text. This one is text heavy and the shortcomings bug me all the more when I see an entire page of them. :| It hardly helps that I lost most of my caps on my much-lamented dead hard drive.

I hope that you had an excellent time with the family. Our Easter was good but surprisingly cold. After a week of temps in the 80s, it was in the 40s! Lots of kids at the family get-together, though, so we had to do the outdoor egg hunt anyway. :)

Oh wow. One of the very best things about fandom is that we can connect with others and make each other happy. I know I've had some lousy, no good, stinking rotten times when reading a good story helped pull me out of my self-pity.

I know this icon post is ancient, but I wanted to tell you I was snagging all of the Daniel/Sam icons!

Also - I'm DYING to know where #41 is from, and if you could possibly point me in the right direction? I need that picture like humans need oxygen. LOL.
