Teryl & Supernatural Pimping

Yay for Vancouver and its hard-working but tiny cast of actors! Teryl Rothery will be guest-starring on Supernatural. I'll be the one on the sofa, watching through my fingers.

To celebrate, Terylicious is hosting a writing contest to honor the all too common fate of Teryl's characters: they die. Submit 250-500 words about How Teryl's Character Will Die. There will be prizes, of course. :) For all the official info, hie thee hence to:

Thank you for the pimp, ma'am!

I'm sorry the pimp is late. It has been on my mental "To Do" List for a while now but life has been getting in the way. I'm probably a dozen comments behind on LJ and I realized that if I waited until I was caught up to post this...her episode would air before I got to it.

I'm not a writer but I'm dying to read what people come up with! Me, I'm hoping she gets to snog the very pretty Jensen Ackles but that's a very pretty pairing to entertain myself with. :)

she doesn't die all the time...*grin*...she didn't in X-files or Psych...lol...this is intriguing me though..I may have to let the muses kick it around some though..hmmm...bleh

But think of the cool ways that she *could* have died! :D Please write something cool for it! I'm no writer so this one is purely spectator sport for me.

Maybe it isn't if you aren't a big old nelly wimp. :) I made the mistake of watching the pilot episode when it was dark outside. Freaked me out but good. Maybe that's an advantage of this otherwise dumbass time change business: more time in the evening when I might be able to watch SPN through my fingers. ;-)

I'm in love with your icon, just so you know.

Movies like The Silence of the Lambs always freaked me out more than horror flicks, though the first Scream scared the bejeebers out of me.

Hee! Thank you. :) [livejournal.com profile] mata090680 has a sense of humor that I love. She makes a million wonderful icons almost daily (I'm sooooo jealous) and I've been eyeing her SPN/Ackles collection for a long time. I had to delete some of the SG-1 icons I made but I thought the trade-off was totally worth it.

I get waaaaay too tense watching anything suspenseful. Psych sends me out of the room to "refill my coffee," for pete's sake. I haven't seen a horror movie in a long, long time. "Silence of the Lambs" probably was the last one I saw and I watched it on tape with 2 friends who could warn me something was coming or "not to worry." Even then, I needed a couple of breaks. Hell, the Dark Angel episode where Ackles was Ben give me nightmares. See? Big 'ole nelly wimp.

Strangely, real life tales of gruesome torture and serial killers? No problem. Even if they sort of "reenact" the crime. I think that reality should bug me more than fiction but I seem to be wired backwards.

Maybe a little. Watched a documentary on Jack the Ripper once, and got no sleep. Of course, I started it at 1 AM, and I was all alone in the dark...

But sometimes I think about how, say, the Zodiac was never caught and might still be out there and that freaks me out.

Does anyone know when this episode will air?

I don't think so. I don't think we even know which episode it is. :( Her website simply noted that she had done/was doing a guest spot on "Super Natural" (sic).

Oh! She's also going to be in the Babylon 5 movies to come. I'm very excited. :) Although, without the Doc and G'Kar...they'll be hard pressed to make it Bab 5 as I know and love it.

KT is soooooo right; Teryl really deserves a MUCH better site.
