Megan is, but I'm bowing out this year in deference to the heat and humidity lol. What about you?

I'm definitely going. I had a great time last year. :) I understand the heat and humidity. They sent a poll around asking if maybe the parade should be moved to a better time of year (I know that June is Pride Month but how about 1st Saturday in June, yanno?). Hopefully future parades will be earlier.

I have not forgotten our planned get together on 21 July. Since you won't be at the parade, I'll have to meet you for dinner. This weekend is bad for us, anyway and next weekend is also full (Pride) but after that things settle down a little. Joe and I are supposed to be coordinating our calendars to take some time off but we haven't.

Joe's car show went very well. He's exhausted but he has another show this Saturday and then the city's big July 4 bash. I suspect we'll be taking time off round about that party of yours. I can hardly wait!

I'm kind of shocked that you can even figure out what I was writing. I really have to stop commenting while talking on the phone and composing e-mails. *shakes head* When I was a kid, I couldn't speak nearly as fast as I could read so I would read out loud by skipping whole groups of words. I read them all and understood it, but it was gibberish as I read. Must remember to thank Mom for her patience next time I see her.

I think I still have that problem but now it's in composing: stringing together sentences outside my head in a way that they make sense seems to elude me.

A couple of weekends from now it is. :) I look forward to it and to hearing all about your vacation.
